The latest innovative OVER 4 SLIM charger is a smart device for charging Li-ION cells in sizes from 18650 to 26650. It has an indicator for each charging channel, showing the percentage of battery charge, as well as information on voltage, resistance, current and temperature. A useful feature is the ability to select the charging current: 1A, 2A, 4.1A. This allows you to control the charging rate in real time. The OVER 4 SLIM is more than a battery charger, it is also a power supply for multiple devices. In order to save time, we can use the USB outputs simultaneously while charging the cells. This feature allows us to charge both the batteries and power an external device at the same time while the power supply is connected.

The TC/CC/CV charging algorithm used in the charger is a charging process for Li-ION cells to ensure good cell condition. It involves charging with the right current and also completing the charge at the right time. TC/CC/CV charging stages, we can divide into:
  • TC stage: the initial phase of checking and reactivating a cell whose voltage has dropped below 2.9V
  • CC stage: then the cell is charged with a constant current of 50mA to 500mA (depending on the connected power source).
  • CV stage: then the charger switches to charging with decreasing current until the cell voltage reaches 4.2V. When the cell voltage reaches 4.2V, charging is complete and the battery is fully charged.


Smart LCD screen:

  • Displays information on current and percentage of charge, as well as voltage, resistance and temperature
  • Backlighting of the screen, will automatically go into power saving mode after 2 minutes of inactivity
  • The status of the charger is determined by, the color of the display:
    • green: standby / fully charged / weak contact / reverse polarity
    • red: charging / activation
    • no light: power supply not connected








Reactivation of
discharged cells involves inserting the cell into the charger and checking the voltage. With this function, we can check each cell of the appropriate size. When a discharged cell is detected, the charger will attempt to reactivate it. Note that exceeding the minimum voltage on the cell will limit the possibility of reactivating and saving such a battery. When you leave the cell in the charger it will self-discharge. However, if the voltage on the battery drops below 3.9V for Li-ION, charging will start automatically.

An interesting and safe solution in the OVER 4 SLIM charger, is a separately connected power supply. This prevents unnecessary heating of the charged cell. When the set is working, the power supply itself heats up and not the charged cell. This directly affects the life of the battery. Built-in temperature sensors detect and monitor the temperature of the cells in real time. When the temperature is too high, the charger will automatically adjust the charging current to ensure safe charging.

Note: When the temperature exceeds 50ºC, the charger automatically stops charging, and when the temperature drops, remove and reinsert the battery to continue charging.

With USB outputs, the OVER 4 SLIM charger, can be used to charge smartphones, tablets, etc.
